Dear Village at Western Oaks Community, 

Your Board of Directors wishes everyone a happy 4th of July and urges the community to celebrate in a safe and responsible manner. 

Residents are reminded that the discharging of fireworks is a hazardous activity, as well as a fire risk, and is prohibited under Article 3.12 of our Master Declaration.

Non-emergency fireworks violations may be reported using the City of Austin 311 system. Per the City of Austin's Fireworks FAQ, “The Austin Fire Department has a presence on the streets, and the Fire Marshal’s Office still issues citations for violating the fireworks ordinance, and vigorously prosecuted persons responsible for starting fires as a result of fireworks.”
