They will help you manage your Member account, find and submit any forms you may need, and answer any questions regarding the Association.

Complete an ARC Improvement Request Online Form;
Upload a complete and detailed building plan, material listing, and specifications;
Upload a property site/plot plan showing the location of the proposed improvement.
The ARC reviews applications within 30 days of submission.

The most effective way to file a complaint or request a compliance check for a potential violation is to submit a Request via the TownSq app. This will be assigned to the property manager, who will be able to address the request.
Account Questions

Village at Western Oaks utilizes the TownSq platform for a number of uses:
Member access to Association documents & forms;
Association notifications for events and meetings;
Ticket submission for neighborhood concerns / service requests;
Online account access and assessment bill pay;

Assessments are billed annually, and are due January 1 of each year.

You may pay your assessment by mailing a check (address on your statement), or paying online through your TownSq account.

Annual assessments are due January 1 of each year
Late fees will apply for assessments received after January 20 of each year
Late fees are $15/mo. until the assessment is paid in full. Annual interest may also be applied
Late fees are not applied to accounts that are enrolled in a payment plan. Payment plans are available by contacting AVWOmanager@GoodwinTX.com

You may change your mailing address by contacting the property manager. It is each Member’s responsibility to ensure the management company has the correct mailing address on file for Association communications.
You can also access your statement and view Association notifications through the TownSq platform.
City Utility Questions

Austin Energy is the electricity provider for the Austin area.

Austin Water is the water/trash service provider for the Austin area.
You can do the following from the Austin Water website:

VWOOA residents are serviced curbside by Austin Resource Recovery at the following intervals.
Weekly Pickup:
Trash (brown bin)
Compost (green bin) - yard waste, food waste, and food-stained cardboard
Additional Yard Waste (leaf bags and tied bundles of sticks)
Biweekly Pickup:
Recycling (blue bin) - mixed plastic, paper, and aluminum
Custom Collection Schedule:
Use My Schedule to get a personalized collection calendar for all City of Austin residential curbside services. You can also sign up for a text, an email or a phone call reminder and alerts.

Large Brush Drop Off:
Austin and Travis County residents can drop yard trimmings and large brush at the Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant (2210 FM 973, Austin, TX) 8 a.m.– 4:30 p.m., Monday–Saturday. The material will be composted and made into “Dillo Dirt.”

Austin Resource Recovery collects bulk items twice a year.
Bulk Item Collection:
You will receive a notice from the City of Austin in advance of a bulk collection service.
Place bulk items at the curb in front of your house by 6:30 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled collection week.
Bulk collection is for items too large to fit in containers.
Keep items 5 feet away from your trash bins and mailboxes.
Do not put items in bags, boxes or other containers.
Bags will be treated as extra trash and are subject to extra trash fees.
Separate items into three piles as described below:
Metal items - Includes appliances (remove doors). These are taken to our Resource Recovery Center for recycling
Passenger car tires - Rims must be removed. Limit of eight tires per household. We cannot collect truck or tractor tires. Tires will go to a tire recycling facility
Non-metal items - Includes carpeting and nail-free lumber. These items go to a landfill.
Austin Resource Recovery is working on plans to salvage reusable items from bulk collection to help meet the City of Austin's Zero Waste goal
Because these piles are collected by different trucks, they may be collected at different times throughout the week.

Austin Resource Recovery collects large brush twice a year.
Large Brush Collection:
You will receive a notice from the City of Austin in advance of a large brush collection service.
Large brush is any yard waste (branches, etc) that is too large to be placed in the green compost bin.
Place large brush at the curb in front of your house by 6:30 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled collection week.
Keep items 5 feet away from your trash bins and mailboxes.
Brush should be between 5 and 15 feet in length.
Tree trunks more than 8 inches in diameter should be less than 3-feet-long.
Cut ends should face the street.
Stack loosely along the curb in one row, not more than 15 feet across and no higher than 4 feet.
Do not block the sidewalk.
Do not extend into the street.

Submit an ARC Request
Submit a request to the Architectural Review Committee for exterior home improvements, additions, and landscaping changes. Exterior improvements must be approved by the ARC prior to construction.
