VWO Adopts Landscape Master Plan

The Village at Western Oaks recently adopted a Landscaping Master Plan, written and proposed by the Landscape Committee, and passed by the Board of Directors.

Landscape Master Plan Vision: To foster pride of ownership and a sense of community by creating landscaped common areas that are lush, beautiful, and environmentally sustainable.

The purpose of the Landscaping Master Plan is to ensure the following:

• Consistency and continuity in landscaping over time (i.e., from one Board ofDirectors to another, one Landscape Committee to another, or one landscaping vendor to another.)

• A template for landscape work in the common areas and a guide for future Landscape Committees.

• A methodology for proposing, discussing and implementing landscapingchanges when the necessity arises.
