🌿 Landscape Improvements Complete!

Davis Lane / La Cresada Medians & Lantana Way Pond

The Village at Western Oaks Board is thrilled to announce the completion of two major landscape improvement projects: the Davis Lane / La Cresada medians and the Lantana Way detention pond perimeter. These upgrades are a beautiful and sustainable step forward in maintaining the welcoming appearance of our neighborhood while preserving our commitment to environmentally responsible landscaping.

Both projects were completed in accordance with the Landscape Committee’s approved Master Plan, which guides long-term beautification efforts throughout VWO. The plan emphasizes the use of plant materials selected from the City of Austin’s Grow Green guide, ensuring that all new additions are drought-tolerant, freeze-hardy, and native to Central Texas.

These improvements not only enhance the visual appeal of key community spaces but also support long-term water conservation, reduced maintenance costs, and stronger ecological health for our shared environment.

We extend our appreciation to the Landscape Committee volunteers and community members who contributed their time and expertise to planning and overseeing these projects. Their dedication helps Village at Western Oaks in its goal to be one of Austin’s most beautiful and sustainable neighborhoods.

Stay tuned for updates on the next phases of improvement—more enhancements are on the horizon!
