New Mailboxes Installed at Amanda Ellis Cluster: Improving Security for Our Community

We’re pleased to share that seven brand-new mailboxes have been installed at the Amanda Ellis cluster! This is an important step in our ongoing efforts to improve the security and reliability of mail service in the Village at Western Oaks.

The new mailboxes are not only higher quality but also feature improved security to better protect against theft and vandalism. We understand how disruptive and frustrating the recent wave of mailbox break-ins has been for residents. The damage has created an unexpected burden on the association, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we work through these necessary replacements.

The board and management team are actively assessing and prioritizing additional mailbox clusters for replacement as part of a larger effort to safeguard community mail access. We’re committed to making steady progress.

What You Can Do:
It’s been reported that thieves are especially targeting credit card pre-approval letters. To help protect yourself:

• Check your mail daily, especially on weekends.

• Opt out of pre-approved credit offers where possible.

• Monitor your credit regularly for any suspicious activity.
